Polymathic Scholars is a space where students get to know each other, ideas are shared openly and collaboration happens easily, all within a community that values both curiosity and connection.
Signature Events
Most Fridays, Polymaths gather for a catered lunch and a faculty talk. These sessions are not just lectures but opportunities to engage with new perspectives, ask questions and take part in thoughtful discussions that often continue long after the event ends.
Each spring, students organize and host Chautauqua, one of the program’s most distinctive traditions. This interdisciplinary discussion brings together faculty and members of the broader community for a dynamic exchange of ideas. It reflects what makes Polymathic Scholars unique: a space where different viewpoints come together and meaningful conversations take shape.
Leadership and Opportunities
The Student Leadership Panel plays an active role in shaping the student experience, organizing social events, academic programming and service opportunities throughout the year. Students are also connected to research, community engagement and other experiences that allow them to turn their interests into action.
Creativity Alongside Academics
Through opportunities like the Polymath Creative Collective and student-run podcast The Unfinished Mind, students have a dedicated space to step outside of their coursework and engage in creative work. Whether through art, writing, or other forms of expression, the group provides a way to recharge, collaborate and use creativity for meaningful impact.
Polymathic Scholars are involved in a wide range of activities and go on to pursue diverse paths after graduation, including medicine, law, research, industry and more. The program encourages exploration and gives students the flexibility to shape their own direction.
